Hey there, It's Christmas eve and I just had some thoughts on eating and preparing myself not to blow it as I've had too many cheat days. Ok, so here's the deal just remember this when you're eating- starchy carb, fibrous carb and lean protein at every meal, that's it! So when you sit down to eat amongst all the choices you have from Mom & Dad's dinner table remember to have complete meals (synergy). For example, lean protein would be the turkey, starchy carb would be potatoes or rice (hopefully it's brown rice or some other natural form) and broccoli would be the fibrous carb.
Eating for Christmas and not blowing it
Now rather than having an how much can I eat in one sitting contest try to eat every 3 to 3 1/2 hours with meals comprised of, again I reiterate, a lean protein a starchy carb and a fibrous carb at every meal. That's it! It's really that simple.
Eating desert and other Christmas treats like Egg Nog
Ok, now when you want some egg nog, cheese cake or whatever you fancy have it with your complete meal the protein you eat and the fibrous carb will slow the release of glucose into the blood stream from your sugary dessert and you won't reak havoc on your fat loss goals.
If you're new to my articles and you don't get the synergy thing read fitness survival guide!
Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
